Port Stephens Celtic Ass. ran the "Clans on the Coast" Festival in Nelson Bay on Sat 19th Sept. It was a very successful day with pipe bands, Celtic dancing and singing, tug-of-war, Light caber toss and push-up competitions. Stalls were there to sell all things Celtic, from kilts and jewelry to swords and shields. Kids games and competitions featured highly this year in an attempt to educate our young ones about the Celtic traditions and heritage.
EVA CLARKE (PTI @ RAAF WILLIAMTOWN) was the eventual winner of the Push-up competition with a total of 98 push-ups. Tim, from the PCYC, was the “DARK HORSE” winner of the "Light Caber Toss" and Taffy's Tragics got up and beat the RAAF in the Tug-of-war
